Joshua Wong is the face of the freedom movement à Hong Kong. With hundreds of thousands of fellow combatants, he has been fighting for free elections et a lesser influence of the Chinese state in his home country for months.
On Monday evening, he was invited as the star guest at the BILD100 party at the roof garden restaurant of the Bundestag. Wong gave an impressive speech to the most important celebrities in Germany ranging from the fields of politics, les affaires et la culture.

I have been arrested and detained for 24 hours later on I took a twelve hours flight and just arrived à Berlin.
36 hours ago, I was still a police station being detained and I was not sure when I would be released. Ainsi, it is really my honor to come and share some of my insights and point out how Hong Kong, people are passionate and determined in our combats. Thank you.
With a lot of hard work carried out by my legal team, I was released this morning and was able to board on a plane. Please allow me to thank all my colleagues here who helped me re-arrange tout. No matter if they are in Hong Kong or de Berlin. They really helped me a lot and also let the voice of Hong Kong s people being heard.
